Orbx Releases Hausen am Albis Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Orbx is at it again, the team has just released another scenery for you, guessed it… Microsoft Flight Simulator, Hausen am Albis Airport is situated about 14 kilometres south of Zurich, and is the home of a popular gliding club and aeromodelling in Switzerland… and the most recent airport to receive the Orbx treatment per se.

A hefty feature list was provided on the Orbx store by the original developer Terrainy, the list has the regular features of an MSFS scenery, but most importantly a fully functioning ATC and ground services, performance optimization, a spawn point available inside the main hangar.

Threshold writers collectively are finding a newer feature that is truly intriguing, the feature is orthophotos alongside the default scenery. Regularly, the average MSFS user will utilize the ortho streaming service, but It seems as if developers are now attaching highly accurate ortho-imagery in their sceneries.

As previously mentioned, the original developer of this scenery is Terrainy so credit is due where it is, meaning support will not be through Orbx, but through the Terrainy Studio’s support page.

Terrainy Studio is also currently in its beta stage for a Vans RV-8 for MSFS which can be viewed here.

Hausen am Albis Airport can be bought at the Orbx store for $12.10.
