Pushback Studios has released their next scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Caboolture Airfield, just North of Brisbane, Australia. The scenery features custom road and highway placement, accurate surrounding orthophotos and over 2000 hand placed objects.

The developers are also known for their popular freeware Redcliff Aerodrome scenery, which is also in the Northern parts of Brisbane, for Microsoft Flight Simulator. That scenery features full fledged AI traffic support and custom PBR texturing.

Pushback Studios have also included a feature list of the airport shown below:

  • Custom hangars and buildings faithfully recreated from onsite research
  • Custom built ground assets and signage throughout the airfield
  • Custom built static aircraft
  • Recreated highway and surrounding streets
  • Ortho improvements in and around the surrounding airfield
  • 2000 hand placed scenery assets in the region

“This airfield has a high degree of mixed use in the region with well established Gliding clubs, training schools, maintenance, helicopters, museums, hobbyists and plane builders. Whether it be during the week or weekends, the pattern around the airfield is one of the busiest” the team explains.

The group also published a promotional video showcasing the new scenery:

The scenery is available for purchase on Orbx Direct for $23.00 AUD.

In the meantime, you can check out the group’s Instagram for future updates and information.
