Airworthy Designs Previews St Maarten in Microsoft Flight Simulator

Now turned Inter-Sim developer, Airworthy Designs has previews their St Maarten in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Airworthy Designs’ St Maarten was originally an X-Plane scenery, although late 2019 the developer announced their intent to port the scenic Dutch Island to the new simulator.

The previews from Airworthy Designs come only days after Fly Tampa shared previews of their infamous rendition of the airport also Microsoft Flight Simulator. Find out more on Fly Tampa’s rendition in our previous article.

The original version of the scenery, for X-Plane, was released back in April 2018 and was the developer’s first-ever release for the platform. Since then, the developer released their rendition of St. Barths, in May 2019, dubbed “Princess of the Caribbean: Part 2”.

Answering some users questions in the comment section of the announcement Facebook post, Airworthy Designs stated that the planned release period for the scenery was in the month of November.

The developer also made it clear that the airport had no connection with Fly Tampa’s rendition, as confusion arose around the aforementioned announcement from Fly Tampa earlier in the week.
