Ultra Weather XP V2.6 Preview Video Released

A new preview of Ultra Weather XP in the form of a video has been released on the developer's YouTube channel.

The video shows various flights undertaken with a variety of sky and cloud textures applied, whilst simultaneously running through the features included.

Interestingly, the thumbnail states the upcoming version will be "simulating volumetric clouds", which was originally slated for version 3 back in July last year.

A follow-up video showing the first glimpse of the volumetric clouds soon followed, though it was met with negativity from users.

One month later, version 2.6 was officially announced. The primary focus of the update back then was said to be the sky colours, with further previews unveiled in the third and fourth weeks of September.

Following silence from the developer lasting a few months, a single screenshot of V2.6 was shown and was said to be about 90% complete in April.

The final development prior to today's previews was about two weeks ago when UWXP shared further images of this version, but also admitted they were struggling with X-Plane 11.50.

That no longer appears to be the case however, as it was claimed in today's video that V2.6 will be X-Plane 11.50+ compatible.

In addition to this, captions and a features list and in the video's description show what else is to come, including:
