News from this year’s FSExpo is starting strong with the developers at X-Crafts sharing a teaser of their upcoming new E-Jets Family. X-Crafts has taken the opportunity to take to their YouTube channel to share a video showcasing the upcoming aircraft family.

The revamp to the original E-Jets were announced in November of last year and are an entirely new aircraft. It is worth noting that existing users of the E175 and E195 will have a discount for the new aircraft. Furthermore, the developer confirmed that the plane will be released in 2022 for X-Plane. X-Crafts has also previously shared previews of the aircraft in May, showing the cockpit for the first time. 

Today’s preview video also shared further footage of the cockpit sharing further functional systems, such as the Universal FMS. The teaser also showcased the aircraft’s 3D modelling, textures, and other avionics. Furthermore, in true X-Crafts Easter Egg tradition, seven carrots are hidden in the teaser video, make sure to point them out in the comments section as you find them. 

X-Crafts launched their latest product, the ERJ Family in May 2019, since the launch, the developer has worked through continuously updating the aircraft, adding new features, as well as starting work on their E-Jets rework. The new E-Jets family was announced in November 2020 and today’s video confirmed that the aircraft is due for release in 2022.
