Yet another week, which of course means another No Money Monday! This time, we are heading to Namibia and checking out Hosea Kutako International Airport (FYWH) for X-Plane, by Scottish Plane Enjoyer.

Hosea Kutako International Airport is the main international gateway to Namibia, serving the capital Windhoek, from a location about 28 miles east of the city.

Opened in 1965 under South African administration and renamed after independence, in honour of national hero Hosea Kutako, it is now the country’s largest airport, handling international, regional, and cargo traffic.

Here, you can recreate Discover Airlines and other leisure flights from Europe, fly Ethiopian Airlines or perhaps some South African ops!

Scottish Plane Enjoyer’s scenery brings the field up to date, with a fully custom model of the new terminal complex, accurate runways and taxiways, and ground textures built on an Ortho4XP tile.

The XP11 package uses 4K textures, while the XP12 version moves to 8K, and the scenery ties in popular libraries such as MisterX, OpenSceneryX, Zero Dollar Payware, RA, and CDB to add clutter and detail.

Hosea Kutako International Airport for XP11 and XP12 is available on the X-Plane.org forum.
