Another week, another Monday, another edition of No Money Mondays! For this week’s edition, we are visiting the state of Nevada, specifically, the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas, to check out Jet Set Designs’ rendition of Henderson Executive Airport.

Located in the city of Henderson, Nevada, its proximity to Las Vegas makes it convenient for all the general and business aviation traffic headed for Sin City.

Opened in 1967, it mostly served general aviation and some sightseeing airlines that offered Grand Canyon sightseeing tours. Three years after its opening, new hangars and facilities were added, and it was renamed to Sky Harbour Airport.

In 1996, the Sky Harbour was bought by the Clark County Dept. of Aviation, and has stayed in their possession since. The airport also got renamed once again, this time to Henderson Executive Airport, and had received a number of expansions and upgrades: a new runway, a new control tower (replacing the old one that had been previously used by the Nellis AFB), a new parking ramp, as well as a new terminal.

JetSet Designs’ rendition of KHND features custom 3D assets, custom ground textures, custom ortho tiles with mesh, custom vegetation, custom modelled surrounding objects, custom static aircraft and OpenSAM compatibility.

This scenery is available for download on the Threshold forums and requires at least 2.52GB (around 6.5GB with mesh installed) of free disk space, and requires a handful of scenery libraries (MisterX Library, ZDP Library, Handy Objects Library, JSD Library, with OpenSAM and Living Scenery Technology plugin being optional).
