If you've been interested in learning more about flying and getting the most out of your sim experience or real-life training, you've heard of "Angle of Attack." AOA is a fantastic flight training organization that loves aviation and teaching hopeful pilots from every walk of life amusingly and engagingly. Bagolu has made some slight changes and modifications for the default 172 giving it the real look and patina feel of the actual aircraft.

The Skyhawk is one of the most well-known aircraft out there, with over 44,000 built, nearly every pilot trained in one, and its test flight in 1955 marks almost 70 years of production. Cessna kept the recipe simple, eventually growing into the trainer everyone recognizes today. Early models were powered by Continental's 0-300 145hp engine while weighing 2,200 pounds; the Skyhawk won't blow your shoes off. Modern versions feature a Lycoming IO - 360 producing 180 hp giving you about 124 knots  (ias)in cruise: modern 172s feature G1000s and other current display options. The configuration of its basic yet exceptional design makes it stable, flying and forgiving to learn with. Beyond learning, the Skyhawk is part of many nations' armed forces, including The Philippines, Greece, and Libera, to name a few. With such success, The Skyhawk has been Cessna's bread and butter for decades, essential to Textron Aviation's and the industry's success.

CLeeaAAARRReeEAR! Angle of Attack founded by Chris Palmer, a certified CFI, the name has become a popular source of learning how to aviate, offering courses to aid your journey from your PPL to Commercial rating. AOA also provides full-service flight training in Homer, Alaska! Turning to simulation, Chris approached Bagolu requesting his Orange and white 172 recreated in Microsoft Flight Simulator. With ideas to get that real aircraft look and feel. The 172 now has bigger wheels (8.50x6), a new prop, dual exhaust pipes, and a unique starting sound of Chris's well known yelp when the engine is turned on.  "CLeeEaaAar!" These modifications add life to the ASOBO 172 with a touch of the fun of a well-known aviation name and figure.

The new plane smell gets a little old after a while; the smell of oil, AvGas and old plane smell is what most of us took lessons in! How about a different look and configuration. Bagolu has created additional modifications for the Cessna 172, including a Taildragger and a bush kit. These modifications enhance the experience of using the Asobo 172. The instrument panel will be based on what edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator purchased with two packages, the G1000 or steam gauges. Installing is easy as usual drag and drop to your community folder. File sizes are about 200-300mb. You can download the AOA Skyhawk here via Flightsim.to
