No Money Mondays: Audio Normaliser by KatiePilot

A new week means a new No Money Monday, and today’s spotlight isn’t on an airport or aircraft; rather, a new plug-in for your online flying, Audio Normaliser.
Developed by real-life Airbus Captain, KatiePilot, Audio Normaliser aims to address the long-standing issue of inconsistent volumes across VATSIM, where pilot and controller transmissions can vary dramatically in volume.

The tool runs in real time, levelling out transmissions in both vPilot and xPilot. Once installed, you can select the source program (vPilot/xPilot), pick its playback device, and set a preferred loudness. From there, the app manages everything automatically. A built-in brickwall limiter prevents sudden spikes, and there is also a short, configurable delay.
Audio Normaliser uses Windows’ WASAPI loopback, and no additional drivers or virtual cables are required.

You can download Audio Normaliser right now, from FlightSim.to.
