Welcome back to a new edition of the "No Money Mondays" series! Today, we will check out the Avro Anson Mk I, a twin-engine aircraft manufactured by the British. We'll be exploring DSD_Simulations' rendition of this aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

The Avro Anson Mk I had its first flight in 1935. It was developed based on the Avro 652 for the British Air Ministry, intended for maritime patrol along the coast. The aircraft also served in the Royal Air Force (RAF), where it was predominantly used as a trainer during the Second World War. The Anson continued to serve as a trainer for the RAF until 1968. Production of the aircraft concluded in 1952, with over 8,000 units built by Avro and nearly 3,000 produced in Canada by Federal Aircraft Ltd. A total of nine different variants of the Anson were created. Today, almost all Anson aircraft are no longer in service, but three are still operational and can be seen flying at airshows.

DSD_Simulations' version of the aircraft features a fully clickable cockpit, authentic instrumentation, functional systems, and much more.

The recently released Avro Anson Mk I can be downloaded at Flightsim.to. If you want to try out a new aircraft type, what are you waiting for?
