This week’s No Money Mondays takes us to Croatia’s Istrian Peninsula, where we will be exploring MysteryBytes’ Pula Airport V2 for MSFS 2024.

Pula Airport is situated approximately 4 miles from the historic coastal city of Pula, and serves as a key gateway to Istria and the Brijuni National Park. Initially constructed as a military airfield in 1954, it was converted to civilian use in 1967. Today, it accommodates both domestic and international flights, with seasonal service from major European carriers, including Lufthansa, Transavia, Ryanair, Jet2, and Croatia Airlines. Despite its modest size, the airport processed over 770,000 passengers in 2019.

MysteryBytes’ V2 scenery is a remake of the previous V1 scenery, now developed exclusively for MSFS 2024. It introduces a brand-new, highly detailed terminal building, a fully modelled departure hall, and an arrival area interior. The updated layout also improves terrain shaping, particularly on the approach to Runway 09, and integrates the sim’s new ground textures, across the apron and taxiways.

Beyond the terminal, the scenery has a custom control tower, fire station, and updated airport surroundings. Pula Airport V2 also incorporates MSFS 2024’s new LOD system, for better performance.
