In this week’s edition of No Money Mondays, we are flying to the Swiss Alps to visit Samedan Airport! The amazing rendition of Samedan Airport was made by Sergio Del Rosso.

Nested in the Engadin Valley, this regional airport serves St. Moritz, a resort town well known for snow sports and luxury. Also known as Engandin Airport, it had more than 17,000 aircraft movements in 2023, most of them being private turbo-prop and jet planes, as well as gliders and helicopters.

It is also the second-highest airport in Europe (the highest is Courchevel), sitting at 1,707 meters (5,600ft). Due to the winds and terrain around the airport, Samedan is considered one of the most challenging airports in the world.

Sergio’s rendition of Samedan Airport features custom terminal buildings and hangars, custom runway and taxiway textures and custom static vehicles.
