It’s the start of another amazing week, so it’s time for another edition of No Money Mondays! Every Monday, we find some of the best community creations the flight sim world has to offer, and showcase it to you! This week, we’re headed north to check out Sudbury Airport (CYSB) in Canada, by MazerMart!

Sudbury Airport got its start as an emergency airfield for Avro Canada CF-100 Canucks based in CFB North Bay, and it had a runway length of 6,600 feet (2000m). In the early 1950’s plans were made to expand Sudbury Airport, and in 1955, the Airport received a second runway and terminal building. In 1972, Sudbury Airport added a control tower, and in 1973, the terminal building was replaced with a larger one. This new terminal building was renovated in the early 2000’s, and is what still stands. Today, the airport serves primarily regional passenger routes with Air Canada Express, Bearskin, and Porter Airways respectively.

The in-sim rendition boasts many features, including:

  • Custom Terminal building with 3D interior
  • Accurate ground markings and taxiways
  • Custom night lighting
  • Custom landside model
  • Accurate GA Ramp

You can get this scenery for the amazing price of absolutely free at flightsim.to!
